February - Hong Kong / Macau
This is for the coming week. For the wanderlust in me, I'm really excited about this trip. It's probably my 5th or 6th trip to Hong Kong. But well, it's Hong Kong! It's a Shopping & Food Paradise! I can go 100 times and still not get bored of the place.
This trip would be slightly different from the previous. I would be visiting the outlaying islands. I have never ventured beyond Kowloon & Hong Kong Island. So, this trip, the plan is to visit Lamma Island & Tai O, in Lantau.
Honestly, I've never been to the Big Buddha in Lantau island. It's strange. This should be one of the main sights people visit. I do have plan initially to take the Ngong Ping Cable Car. But with the recent incident, the cable car is closed for 2 months. Hopefully, I'll get to visit Big Buddha and take the Ngong Ping Cable Car on my next trip. There's so much acclaimed reviews of both the attractions.
It's also not my first trip to Macau. But I've done some research on the nice eateries in Macau. The main highlight of the trip is watching the HK$2billion production - House of Dancing Waters. I shall see if this is better, if not, as good as "O" by Cirque that I watched in Vegas. O is really mind-blowing. I hope House of Dancing Waters can match up to my expectation.
March - 6 Nights Cruise on Royal Carribean
This is my first, actuallly my second time on a cruise ship. The first was, probably 20years ago, during school days. Royal Carribean, is renowed International Cruiseliner. Unlike Star Cruises, whose main selling point is its buffet and casino, Royal Carribean caters more to season cruise passengers. Staterooms are bigger, and twin sharing is not too expensive.
There are also a lot of activities onboard. Otherwise, can just laze on the pool deck and suntan. My only worry is I would be sea-sick.
April???
Papa Snew wants to go Maldives. Maldives is really magical. However, with the political situation. I'm not sure if it's still a wise choice to go for the moment. So where should we go instead?
Mauritius? But this seems to be the second best choice to Maldives. Should we go for 2nd best?
Seoul? I've been to seoul a few times, but it's for work. Other than Myeongdong, I've yet to discover other parts of Korea.
Penang? My parents are returning to revisit their old homes. Of course I've been there umpteen times. Should we join them? The only motivation is spending some quality time with my folks, and Papa Snew has never been. Also, the FOODie... Penang Char Kway Teow, Hokkien Mee and Chendol...
Let me have your views? Where should I go?
