About Snew

Welcome to Snew's Travel Blog - snewthewanderlust.

I believe the one question that all of you have in mind is, who's Snew?? Is that my real name?
Snew - the plush toy that my other half, Papa Snew and I share.

Over the years, it has grown very attached to me and is part of our lifes. Hence, I decide to use this name as my blog.

2012 marks a new beginning. My newfound freedom as I am now taking a Sabbatical from work. After working like a dog for 12 years non-stop (ok, it's an over-statement), I decided to take a break. Starting a blog is something that I finally has a chance to do.

Travel - my greatest passion would be dedicated under this blog - snewthewanderlust.blogspot.com
In this blog, I'll share on the beautiful places that I've been to, the itineraries and travel tips (if any).

I'm no photographer. I started this blog using the dummy's digital camera - Canon Ixus 120 IS. Recently I upgraded my camera to G1X, still a digital camera with some manual settings. I do hope someday I would be able to share the photos with a DSLR. So, pls forgive me if my photos are below your expectation.

So, pls pardon me that the blog is still very amateur, as this is my first attempt to blogging. I'll try to improve along the way. Comments are welcome. Drop me a note at snewthewanderlust.gmail.com

  1. We share the same passion. Welcome to the blogging world Snew! I am finding your post on Melaka very helpful since this is the most recent I have found. My friend and I are planning to visit Malaysia on October and right now I am in the process of finishing our itinerary for Malaysia.

I'd really like to try that Chendol. Would you be able to remember how much regular meals cost in Jonker St. We are just backpackers travelling on a budget!

    Thanks!

    1. Hi Paula,

Good to hear that my blog has provided some useful insights. Depending on the food you eat, a simple local meal (just one or two dish) at Jonker 88, hawker stalls or chicken rice stall cost probably between RM10-RM20 per person.
